The Transtank manufacturing facility is located in Parkes , New South Wales , Australia. 

Why Parkes?

Parkes, 365km west of Sydney, is the demographic centre of Australia. From Parkes, it is possible to transport to more than 80% of Australia's population in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, on a next day or overnight delivery schedule.

The town is located at the 'crossroads of Australia' where the Newell Highway linking Melbourne and Brisbane intersects with the transcontinental railway which links Sydney and Perth.

Parkes provides Transtank with a unique logistics capability to service the complete Australian market.  Transtank have access to the rail line servicing the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australian markets through our close proximity to the Linfox Parkes freight terminal.

The facility is set on 3.9 hectares and operates from a 3,000 sqm purpose built manufacturing facility.  The factory features a custom designed abrasive blast room and state of the art dust free paint booth.

Run by Transtank shareholder, Neil Harrison, the operation employs some 25 staff.
