Mining Pumping Packages

Mining brings out the worse in petroleum products pumping requirements.  Heat, dust, heavy work load, vibration, high flow rates, and operator abuse all test the robustness and practicality of Transtank pumping equipment packages.  The Transtank Mining Stand Alone (MSA) and Mining Power Required (MPR) pumping packages have been developed from over 6 years of Transtank experience with mining applications.

Both pumping packages feature the tried and proven Ebsray Sliding Vane Positive Displacement Pump, TCS Oval Gear Meter supplied with Veeder Root Mechanical Counter (this package is NMI approved for the resale of petroleum products), and Banlaw range of lightweight, heavy duty dry break nozzles.  Each pumping package is supplied with two dispensing outlets, 450 litres per minute for mining equipment filling, and 80 litres per minute for light vehicle filling.  The respective hose lengths are 10 metres for the mining equipment filling and 3.6 metres for the light vehicle filling point.

The Stand Alone pumping package is supplied with a Yanmar diesel fueled, water cooled motor to provide for stand alone operation without the need for power to be provided.  The Power Required pumping package requires 415V 3 phase power to be supplied to the tank.
