SKIDS

Transtank have designed a skid module to compliment our intermodal ISO container tank design.

The Transtank tank unit drops onto the skid module, locking onto the module using the container twist locks incorporated into the tank design.

By developing the skid module as a separate piece of equipment from the tank unit, most of the stresses placed on the equipment when towing on site are taken up by the skid. The tank is therefore afforded some protection from possible damage during site towing.
