The Transtainer HARLS and HASLS series of IBC's are specifically designed for the semi bulk storage, transportation and dispensing of liquids classified as Dangerous Goods.  They are designed for both top fill and top discharge for applications where product integrity is critical.

The design of the equipment ensures maximum service life in severe operating conditions.

Robust Design:
- Constructed from 3mm plate.
- The round design of the HARLS unit minimises side wall fatigue due to wave motion during transport.
- Areas subject to wear, tear and damage are reinforced with guard and striker plates.

Safety:
- Designed to be moved with a forklift and incorporate skid pockets which fully encase the forklift tynes for operator safety.
- The Coaming incorporates four reinforced lifting points tested at over twice the total mass of the unit.
- The Coaming also protects ancillary equipment fitted to the tank top and acts as an interlock when the units are stacked.
- All access points are available with locking capability if required.
- An earth lug is fitted as standard.

Storage:
- The base of the unit is based on a 1190mm by 1170mm footprint for ease of storage and transport.

- Can be stacked two high for storage.

Top Fill:
- Designed for Top Fill via a full length fill tube terminating in a 50mm NATO camloc adapter and dust cap.
- Alternatively the unit can be filled via the 150mm inspection hatch.

Top Discharge:
- Fitted as standard with a full bore 2” ball valve and camloc coupling. The suction pipe extends to a sump fitted in the base. Dry break adapters and alternative valve sizes are available.

Venting:
- Combination manway assembly:
a) Pressure venting at 21 kPa.
b) Vacuum venting at –3.5 kPa.
c) High Temperature relief at 138oC
- The manway includes a lockable 150mm inspection hatch.
- The 460mm manway is located by a bolted clamp-band with locking provision for ease of access when cleaning or inspection is required.

Reduced Contamination:
- Maximum drainage ensures cross contamination is kept to a minimum. Drain points can be fitted if required.

Minimal Residual:
- With the suction pipe terminating in a sump product residual is kept to a minimum. - The HARLS features radiused corners minimise product hang and simplify cleaning.
